Oscilloscope — Signal Waveform Analysis
Building an analog distortion circuit based on the Boss DS-1 topology. Single-supply op-amp biasing, virtual ground references, and clipping stages, all prototyped on breadboard with oscilloscope verification.
Studying complex analog systems like the MXR Dyna Comp: OTA-based variable gain (CA3080), envelope detection, power supply design, and block-level signal flow analysis for audio compression circuits.
Built rigid-body physics simulations from scratch in C and C++. Collision detection, gravity, and force calculations with CMake build system. Structured with proper include/src separation and docs.
Full custom build from individual parts. Tracked BOM with specs, managed component fitment and tolerancing, planned assembly sequence. Built a web app to track every part and cost.
A Monte Carlo simulation tool that estimates trading strategy performance. Input risk parameters, win rate, and reward/risk ratio to see projected daily and annual returns, Sharpe ratios, and S&P 500 comparison.
